I am almost finished picking bits off Keith 5700s ex v8 shell.

So far I havent found a single square inch of rust. Evevything underneath is like new and Keith spent hours waxoyling everything.

Its of no use to me and soon it needs to go. Sooo I was just wondering tonight if there would be any response when I put an advert up.???

I dont care what happens to it .

i have several easy options to get rid.

Just one quick phone call will bring my mate with his HI-AB truck and off it goes. No work required by me.

I could load it on a trailer and weigh it in as clean(green) steel locally. Bit of effort but I will get fair cash price(prices are still low but on the increase)

Or maybe someone might want the shell for a project car/repair a write off etc????

So what do you guys n gals think???

Its interestng to compare it to the 240Z rolling shell I have waiting to be built up to a complete car next year. I was recently offered £3000 for it "as is". I wonder if one day 300 ZX shells will be worth proper money?

Is this the shell that Nick originally bought?

Nick????

What part of the following phrase dont you understand???:slap:

Keith 5700s ex v8 shell.

:rofl::rofl:

Nick (bantambunny) bought a V8 shell with all the gubbins. You helped him collect. Thought it might have been the same one as it was a seriously tidy shell too! I didn't know, but maybe he bought that from Keith5700

If it had been a SWB shell I would have been very tempted to take it, I'm sure someone on her must have a rusting car that would benefit from a shell swop.

How much is left on the shell, is it still rolling?

Nonono, mine's a gunmetal grey shorty. Keith's is a black LWB, having seen it in the flesh I have to say it's the most gorgeous, straight genuine shell i've seen. I've been trying to get my dad to agree to have it but he's having none of it

i can vouch for this motor (well, the shell...)- not seen it in the detail that Pete has but what i did see (which was most of it!) was absolutely mint!

I'll have it if you swap all my parts over to it, refit my wide arch kit and take away my rusty shell

Oh come on you lot, anyone with a damaged/rotten shell could have an absolutely mint, solid car for a bargain price. Why waste all this time welding in patches in your crappy shell. ffs this is really winding me up now this perfectly mint shell is going to be chopped for metal  :(

Seriously I'd love it but haven't got the space or the time to swap it all over and start refitting a kit again :(

Would love a SWB wide arch too.

Thing is how many rotten through LWB shells are there in this club and how many peeps with these shells have the car off the road because it's been in a smash/without mot.

It's summer, loads of time to do a swap and whoever did end up with it would have a totally 100% solid car. I'd have it myself for the V8 conversion is it wasn't for the fact i had a solid swb shell fully trimmed out :(

Looks like this weekend/early next week it will be chopped as no interest in it and I need the space for another 240Z I have just bought:dance:

What a waste :(, my shell is completely fine, so i do not need it
