Heya,
When i bought the car the previous owner told me that the timing belt had been replaced last April at 65k milage.
I had a quick look through the receipts on purchase and everything seemed fine.
Just had another look whilst looking for my MOT documents and the receipt actually says:
'Adjusted Timing', so i think i must of misread it skim reading when i bought it :-S
The car is now on 72k and i have no idea when or if the timing belt has been replaced other than the word of the seller (which doesnt seem to match receipts).
ive just had it serviced and new brakes and stuff so cant really afford a timing belt service for a few months, is it something i should be really worried about? I know if it goes the car is fooked but surely it would have been replaced before now :-S
