that would be one hell of a group buy but well worth it,and I have garage space:D

I think it would be a super idea. A perfect mint example as nissan intended. a true proper classic.

It would also most proberly be an investment in the future

looks in good nick , and with those mls a great investment if proven

i hope it does not fall in to the wrong hands :nono:

Ooooh! At last one with leather - most of the extremely low mileage immaculate UK that turn up from time to time have the cloth trim.

I'm seriously tempted to buy that!!!

Good find mate......

............I have just started "watching" it;)

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Sounds good...but from the description in the advert it sounds like its condition doesn't necessarily reflect its low mileage.

In which case..what makes it special? Nothing really, and its an Auto :x:

low mileage cars are always special mate as long as they are not rust buckets and thats no rust bucket it has a current mot and the seller says it well take very little to make it concoures if I had the money I would snap it up just look at the money 240Z are making check link below:)

Sorry david but I don't see your point here....... this is an original 20 year old Zed in original factory condition, exactly the sort of car the club could look at investing in

So the club invest in this car say, who actually get the car? where does it get stored, who drives it? No very fair if peoples subscription fees etc are used to purchase this or ppl help raise the money and then its kept away down at the bottom of the country or away up north where not everyone will see it or get to sit in it drive it

use the subscription fees and restore it back to mint. :)

Its a part of zx history

ok. But i know as a subsribed member that if that car was restored to mint and sitting away down in england that i was never going to see it other than photos, even tho i had a share in it i would not be happy if u know what i mean:rofl:

There are loads of Z's out there that are standard, its only the low odometer reading that makes it any different - the description makes it quite clear that its in no way in top condition...and since there are Z's out there that are in top condition I dont see the attraction.

Mileage is meaningless, its about all condition. If it was in Mint factory condition then that would be different.

oh, its also not the lowest mileage out there either

nice motor, but i always thought low mileage cars were nowt but problems as they aint used much and things seize and rot due to not been used much????

I agree that it's not perfect, but it's not replaced original, it's original original!

And surely that is what a real car owners club would do, rarther than just a paying forum board? Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the club, but this place will never be a real car club until it starts doing real car club things!

Looks about as perfect as you are ever going to get after 20 years

It wasn't me either......yet........

......BUT I did go and take a drive over to Essex for a peek this afternoon!

In fact I have only just got home - bloody M25:rant:

It's a very tidy car indeed. It's been used (very little BTW) in a nice dry climate so absolutely no rust; the engine, gearbox and suspension all feel "right" for a car of such low mileage. Plus the (stock) brakes are excellent as the car has obviously not been shagged around for 18 years!

The only negative points were some faded paint on the bumper below the headlights owing to the heat in the Middle East; the a/c has been uprated to cope with the climate out there but it's currently not working and it needs a new radio & radio facia surround.

It's a true UK spec that was shipped overseas but has now returned to Blighty.

I will be placing a bid as I think the car should go to an enthusiast like most of us, rather than to someone who will ruin it.

Richard:)

Did the seller suggest what the reserve might be?

And the best of luck to you Richard, hope it is as it looks and sounds.

It would be nice to see it, as you say, go to a real enthusiast and be looked after, rarther than hacked about like most. No dissrespect to any modified Zeds out there, always nice to see an original example. After all it'll be ones in original condition that are sort after when they start to become rarer.
