*****x. Only had them on a couple of weeks. Pulled out of a juntion too fast in the wet, back end spun around and slammed me sideways into the curb on the opposite side of the road.

 

Other than the scuffed alloys is there anything else i should check after such a collision? Car seems to drive fine and in a straight line but ya can never be sure with these things. Hit the curb pretty hard sideways.

If you're worried, get a tracking check done to see if anything's been knocked out if it's not visable.

well if it was me i'd jack the car up, chuck under an axle stand, grab the wheel and give it a damn good shake should be really solid with no movement...pop the wheel off and inspect the anti-roll bar...upper and lower arms...hicas arms...look for any signs the shock has leaked, cracked spring etc

cool, thanks for the list ill give it all a good check. Had a friend do the same thing in a 200sx and it was close to a write off with the amount of "internal" damage he had done.

 

Sucks this has happened a week before the MOT too, fingers crossed nothing is bent/split/leaking/cracked.

The Z's suspension arms are far more collapsible than the body. Takes quite a bit of curb whacking to damage a chassis. I've seen Zs with ruined suspension rebuilt in about 5 minutes with no other damage.

I'd check the alloy for cracks as well mate.
