Is a ET40 offset anygood?

40 is a bit much I would run those with a 5mm spacer and it will become a 35 which is fine.

Fronts? Back? Wheel width? You NEED to give more information. Offset means dick if you haven't got a wheel width.

well heres the dick! width 8j on 1 set of wheels 8.5 on another set that i am eye balling! both front and back same offset. cheers.

Thanks for the dick! So you're looking at 2 sets of wheels? 8" wide is very narrow. Stock UK TT rears are 7.5" wide. ET40 at the front with an 8" wide wheel, or even an 8.5" wide wheel is going to look poor. It'll fit fine, but won't look very good. As for the rears. 8" is way too narrow. Again, they will fit, but they won't look good.

Yep Si is right. you need to get some 8's and 9's at least

Buy Yassa's BBS's they are awesome wheels in perfect zed fitment offset and width. If you do it will stop me from doing so!
