Been doing a drawing of Bella and Edward from Twilight the past few days and was wondering if there is anyone here whos good at art... painting/pencils or whatnot?

 

Just wondered if anyone was, would you put up some of your work?

Do you take inspirations from Boris Valejo? I'm really into Fantasy Art, favourite being Jim Burns. I'd love to be able to 'create' like he does!

in my opinion mate those are extremely good , the Joker i would leave as is its finished like that.....youve captured the essence of the character ..to add detail in a background would detract from the mood you have accidentaly captured by not finishing it ....i dabble in pencil sketches and water colours too .....but not to that standard ..well done fella

Im into fantasy art too, but they are both new names to me Si... i'l have to look them up :)

 

The problem i have always had is i cant create my own stuff... all im really good at is copying other artwork/photos etc.... I'd love to be able to start with a blank canvas and create a masterpiece from my imagination

Both artists in the main use airbrushing as a finishing technique. They both have done many illustrations for film, TV and books.

Jim Burns (my favourite fantasy artist). Some of his alien landscapes are out of this world...litterally!

 

 

 

 

ime allways impressed with people that have artistic flair and i must say there is a few on this site:bow::bow:..i myself spent 13 years at an art school and amoungst my works i count this as one of my best:)

As a man with absolutley no artistic talent what-so-ever all I can say is those drawings and paintings are amazing... wish I could draw to half that level but I never will...

no i havn't as of yet.... i may do at some point, although it will probably be in Advent Children style as they did an awesome job bringing them to life

Hi hes my son and i have painting's he's done on my wall's at home . Were i used to work i had them up in my office. from a early age customers would say how good they were. and i was for ever stopping him from trowing them away

I really love that picture mate!! I cant say its often i see a drawing/painting that i genuinely love but that is superb! I don't know exactly why but it just does it for me!
