Can't obviously call up BT at the moment for tech assistance, but my broadband has started to do very odd things over the past few days. I had to unplug it the day before yesterday as I needed to add another extension lead. Switched it back on and ever since, it's had a real struggle in download. Then occasionally in disconnects then automatically reconnects. Quite often, it'll just time out and loading pictures is now a complete chore! It's odd that since turning off the modem initially it's just started running as quick...or rather as slow as a 56k would.

Any ideas anyone?

Spoke too soon! Slow as feck again and has taken nearly 2 minutes to re-load this page!

Si, try putting the cabling back to how it was before. An internal extension/cabling problem can cause sync/connection problems. Give it a try to eliminate..
