After owning a couple of 300zx TTs before I recently purchased my 3rd as a bit of an ongoing project. Its an import twin turbo manual, but after neglect from a couple of former keepers it has been off the road since 2003/2004!!

As I bought the car:

and then today, finally :smash:

not a bad days work... engine now in, all mounts/supports in place, 90% of connectors on and just a few pipes left. Getting there, slowly but surely! Once the engine is running I will be concentrating on the exterior, colour change, new wheels, suspension and lots of other goodies :D It will rise from the dead, would hate to see it go to waste :p

Great job there.

I'm as jealous as hell of the mechanical ability a lot of your guys have to work on your own cars. So far the best I could manage, was replacing the MAF, wiper motor and window regulator! Ah some day...................

thanks for all the support for rebuilding as opposed to ripping it apart for spares!

Me and my mate have been doing all the work on my driveway, neither of us are mechanics but have a basic knowledge of cars which goes a long way... its not too tricky :D

Didn't even notice :wack: they were just chucked on to start with, they come off after that as the engine went in then put back on, so they are right now lol  like I said I'm no mechanic :nono:
