Mine are the loudest I've ever heard - Turbo XS Type H-RFL and you can work out what the RFL stands for

"This is the loudest valve on the market at 115 db at 15 psi."

They have changed the top of the barrel slightly recently but still look pretty similar to the ones I have.

You're in luck!

Z1 are selling them off including the Z fitting kit for $200 a pair! :D

Not sure if anyone in the UK has them but they will be a lot more than that.

Got mine from Z1 years ago and they've worked great.

I was always told that BOV's were really bad for engines that used mass air flow meters to calculate how much fuel to inject (Z engines). If the air flow meter has seen a load of air go through it and is injecting a load of fuel accordingly, won't it end up running the engine really rich if half that air comes out through the trumpets?

Dave

Jealous!!

Just cause your boring si doesnt mean others have to be aswell:D!!

Some of us like change:D!

Not having Dump Valves isn't boring. It's tasteful......and stock ones are better for the engine!

Its your "taste". Everyones is different and i dont see y your so hard on bov's. They may be better (slightly) but its not as if dump valves are causing the car any harm.

I know it is mate. I'm only messin'. You know what I'm likr. Still dislike 'em though. ;)

anno.....i understand where you come from thinking they are chavy, but i personally just love hearing them go off.lol.

Im sure that the saem with other and y they get them really:D! Just for the noise.lol

I think the only reason they have a chavvy perception was from the days of the RST guys. They used to sit in car parks revving their CVH turbos making the valves actuate. Ever since then, whenever I hear them, I think of that.

I guess with Z32 TTs and the like, you're not expecting these types of car to make that noise. So I suppose that's where the appeal is.
