Modified or stock??

I'm trying to decide if to modify my next Z or go for the improved stock look

Complete respray in Bayside blue.

UK spec window tints.

Complete new external trim.

Genuine 99-spec rear spoiler and lights.

Escort Racing front bumper

Kaminari side skirts

Smooth or kaminari rear bumper

Billyboat exhaust (oval tips)

Black roof bars

99-spec headlights

Tein EDFC coilovers

19" BBS LM (9" front with +20 offset and a mildly rolled lip, 10" rear with +35 and a mildly rolled rear lip).

 

Pretty much it. :)

What does the Escort Racing front bumper look like?

Wouldn't class it highly modded. Thing is, there's a difference between highly modded and tastefully modded. The stuff mentioned above is very good quality gear and it still retains the Zs original lines. No nasty vents, cutouts, minging lights etc. Just sweet and simple.

 

Escort racing front bumper is basically a 99-spec with a subtle lip....like so...

Except its fibreglass which is why I decided not to purchase it and never would...shame :(

 

i like where the side repeaters are on this is that standard ???

 

Pretty sure thats not the Side repeaters, but some sort of badge/sticker.

Totally agree, Ive done things to mine that people disagree with, but who cares. I love the look and wouldn't change a single thing.

 

Do what you think is right or you probably won't be totally happy with it.

Love this zed posted by Si. Thats the type of rear bumper I'd like.

 

Improved stock. Make it to your own spec but remembering that wheels, exhaust etc can always be changed to anothers preference. If you mod the hell out of the Zed then be prepared to face a long wait if you ever need to sell. Classic car status is just around the corner for this great machine and you don't see many modified classic cars - unless they are on the track!
