i need this apparently - MT-90 gear oil nowhere in the uk stocks it, great!!! lol! any clues?

2.8L or 3.1L for European models it says in the service manual.

That's for a TT so the NA might be slightly more or less as it's a different box I think?

yea i need that mt-90 redline stuff, everyone's raving about it for fixing grinding gears n lazy syncro's

It's probably the best you can get and it will make changes a bit more smooth but if the synchro's are on the way out it's not really going to help and is probably just a waste. It's not the cheapest of stuff to put in a knackered box.

tweeks is like 14.99 - opie is 11.99 just waiting for them to get back to me altho im running out of time at the garage, need the shocks and spacers, (should arrive from zworld around mid next week) spigot rings, should arrive tomorrow, and that just leaves the box oil to acquire!!

right ordered 3 "quarts" of mt-90 gear oil a meer £38.60 + delivery hopefully this should solv a few problems, if not then i bettar start the hunt for a new box!!

 

 

(3 quarts be enough?)

From memory that sounds about right. God knows why they still sell it in quarts!
