As some are aware im posted out to Germany and have to put on Euro headlights. Well, they come today and i thought id show you all as they are brand new. Ive never seen a new set before. Just my prob is now i have to loose the chrome effect lights. I have another set of Euro inserts to chrome but i m struggling to get the balls to split a new set of lights up.

What should i do!!???:headvswal

Loosing the chrome effect isn't a bad thing though. The oem dark headlights look infinitely better. A much more deep and mysterious look!

I'd go down turboz's route if I got round to removing mine again! LOL

So far, according to the poll, 100% of the voters think you should leave them as they are! Looks like this site has more people with taste than I thought! LOL ;)

Shit spelling!

I dont mind the chrome, but I prefer the standard look and since they are brand new shiney units I voted to leave them alone.

if it aint broke dont fix it!!!!

We're talking zeds here - they're always broke

Since they are brand new I would definately leave them alone, they are very expensive and if you split them and cock it up you won't be happy!

Personally I like the standard look anyway.

turb0z, they look superb!!!

jonce, i've done the chrome inserts and i love the look. However, brand new lights i would leave alone. :)

I prefer the standard look, especially on a silver car which is why i've always left mine alone :)

He is indeed!

Took the Z for it's first drive in about 18 months tonight :D

:nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2:

Needs loads of work to tidy it up now and the brakes are terrible after all that time but nothing I can't sort out over a few evenings.

Need to pay my subs now!

What else needs fixing on it mate?

Good to have you back!

It's all running fine now just needs MOT.

Been driving a Discovery V8 on LPG recently as my daily runabout so it's a bit of a change LOL

Still goes like $hit off a very fast stick!

The R34 brakes are now spongey as hell so needs new pads and the system bleeding i think.

I destroyed them at the Nurburgring a couple of years ago and then it's been off the road not longer after that so no surprise really.

All the shiney bits under the bonnet are a mess and need a few hours of elbow grease.

Passenger electric window has stopped working which is typical as one of the last jobs i did on it before it went off the road is replace the drivers side window motor and it was a right pain in the a$$!

Bodywork is a bit of a mess as the Border bonnet I fitted and sprayed myself temporarily needs doing properly and there's a scrape the full length of a side skirt needs sorting.

Basically needs a full respray as there's some damage or rust appeared on almost every panel from sitting on my drive in the damp without ever getting a run out.

Might need a door as I spotted loads of rust under the bottom edge last time i was under it.

Never ends does it! LOL

My thoughts too.

Chrome lights only look good on black cars but there's nothing wrong with stock. And as your's are new I'd leave them alone!

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
