I have just got a job working for the Williams Formula One team starting in July. It's a year long placement as a year out of my degree. I'll be working in their design office as a Junior Design Engineer. I just can't believe it!!!!:hyper::hyper:

Cheers guys, the head of HR decribed it to me as a year long job interview so as long as I can impress them and work my a*** of f I could have a job waiting when I finish my degree.

A good mate of mine did Automotive Engineering at uni and after a placement and job at Bentley went into F1 and is now part of the team that designed the Braun F1 car! not half bad...

Awesome, well done fella. I'm a mature student too, reading Mechanical Engineering. JUst can't wait to get started now. First proper job i've had since I left the RAF in 2006!!
