ahhh ebay..the pond of high spec parts:rolleyes: made in ting tong for 99p more than likely

christ!! what happened did your back end swerve out or anything? iv got front tie rods of the bay of e... not those ones tho, think these ppl who are selling them need to be really ****ing careful i doubt they have liability insurance and i can bet that a front tie rod failure could easily result in a death!

had the exact same problem with my front adjustable tension rods from ebay went over a speed bump and the passengers side one snapped lucky i was only doing about 10mph at the most so managed to stop before serious damage was caused

I went down to Brighton yesterday. Bought some stuff with the wife and put it in the boot and noticed that my passenger rear wheel sounded like it was rubbing. So I jumped out and noticed the passenger rear wheel was sticking out further than the drivers side? Got it home and took the rear wheel off and hey presto the rod has pulled itself out of its bracket on the back of the wheel hub. SPL, driftworks or Powertrix parts for me from now on I think!

I shall stick with the good old OEM parts me thinks.....

Yep thats a good call! As I have bigger wheels and aftermarket suspension I had to change them but if it was standard I would just stick to oem

and if possible try buy off our own traders..even iff they are a couple of quid more,at least you have the assurance the problem would be sorted;)

driftworks do some really good kit with a prooven guarantee

:duffer:

Yep thanks for the tip bud. Would have bought SPL or Powertrix but i'm guessing the difference in price is shipping from the states, also they have a long lead time whereas the dw stuff arrives tomorrow.

SPL over powertrix any day. ive got SPL upper and lower on the front with tein traction rods. not a single complaint with them at all. she holds nice and tight with no movement or a single sqeek

:D

anyone noticed how 'tie rods 300zx' have dissappeard from ebay?

nope :D

Saw a cool advert for some tein tie rods and ends though!

Hi,

Have you complained? I am pretty sure they will bend over backwards to replace/compensate you if you make enough noise. If you also complain to ebay (selling goods unfit blah blah) they will make a noise with the trader as well. If you paid by PayPal - you may be covered still.
