Hi - Where is the best place to get ones' plenum polished?

Or maybe I should ask - where did you guys get your plenum polished?

I'm in Surrey!

Best regards.

One can send ones plenum to StellaZ as he really needs the wrist action to wind his watch up ;)

now that is funny :rofl::rofl:

doesnt slick pete do shiny bits on here

i tend to do chrome only now as polishing plenums is a long and tedious process.

I dont however get involved in chroming plenums.

I have seen a couple done by someone else recently and wasnt that impressed

...if I polish my plenum toooo much I will go blind!!!

Is she right? I already wear glasses so does it really matter :rofl: :rofl::rofl:

I would'nt chrome it - thats just 'not right'. (personal opinion - sorry guys with chromed plenums).

Andy

I can't see Pete doing a plenum for anything less than alot of money i know how much he hates doing them :rofl:

And i dont have time either as I am doing more with early cars again(240Zs)

Someone on here has painted theirs with Hammerite i read it the other day.

You may laugh but actually it looks a really good job and something i am tempted to do myself.

I've done a couple for members in the past but it's a hellish job and I'm not cheap, lol! However, without blowin' me own trumpet, I get a damn good finish ;) Would be £200 not including postage if I did one again.

hi andy, i have a standard plenum i am selling, might be an idea to have it then you can take your time and paint it yourself, no need to have your zed of road for ages. its 50 quid pick up mate, check my items for sale thread, cheers,
