I have got salvage rights on it so I have access to a good engine and gearbox, and just under £2000 in insurance money, plus whatever else I can sell on the silver one.

If you were in my posision would you sell the engine and gearbox to make a bit more money, or buy a Z with engine problems???

I have the tools to remove and fit engines and anything else that need doing

Buy a zed with engine problems, they are usually very cheap even a good bodied import one.

yep, buy a zed with a fooked engine and stick yours in it.

For £210 its not worth NOT buying it back, even if you sell bits you'll get 5x's that all day long.

if its not allowed back on the road, how are you able to buy it back, are you a registered breaker, if not im sure you are not allowed to have it back

Buy it back and buy one with a knackered engine, that's what I did and only paid £400 for the car!

Break the Silver one and then buy one with a knackered engine, but good gearbox? ;) then do a swap after that you can then break the Yellow one too and make the money to MOD it.....
