im trying to get the intercooler pipes out,

i can manage one of the melal pipes, from the hotside of the intercooler,

but the cold side pipes (to the plenum) i cant see how the hell they come out?

(just to advise its the one the recirc valve is conected to, the metal one)

obvious people with front mounts have done it,

anyone?

All I can say mate is that I had a hell of job getting the hardpipes out on my breaker. There are a few bolts on both sides of the chassis member that are holding it in plus various feeder pipes, once these are out you need to wiggle and manoeuvre the pipe out. It's not easy i'm afraid.

ive disconected the recirc valves from it, and removed the rubber pipes from each end.

the pipes are completely loose, but i just cant work out how to wriggle them out of there??

if i pull them out from the top, they get stuck at the bottom, and vise verasa :S

anyone got some they have removed for me?

have you removed the radiator, might give you some more room for wiggling.

im only guessing as i have never removed those pipes (probably the only thing i havnt touched)

:)

I hsve done it with the radiator in.. a PITA but can be done.. and i didit with BOV's on..... :headswall: wy i dont know lol....

just keep wiggling from the botom and pull downwards... you will never get them out from the top.... ever. lol

now i know why i left those pipes alone

:D

there are a few hidden bolts as said above. think its on the black hard metal pipes which route back round to the bay with them and not the ones silicone ones on the intercoolers although they would be very tight and stiff so lots of wiggling and pulling. wd40 might help maybe?

they are a complete PITA.

ok il try to wiggle them from the bottom, with the rad out.

i can imagine how difficult they are going to be to put back in on the NA shell i have!!!

It took me a while to get mine out, after alot of wiggling and swearing they eventually came out, not easy though.
