Are these a legal requirement? what are the options if i wont to remove one?

 

And yes i do realise how i have spelt 'toe'. it was a spelling mistake.

    Because im looking into getting a new exhaust and im a big fan of the single or twin output.

    Im not overly enthusiastic about a duel or quad setup.

     

    But if i do go for this i would wont the other side filled in and smoothed over but the tow eye would be in the way.
