Lesson learnt after replacing the clutch, had a few bits to sort out ie, a few bolts and adjusting.

After in a rush to get the motor running, OVERTIGHTEND the starter motor bolts and sheared the threads.:slap:

Went to start today, and one turn then just a whine noise. Checked and the starter was hanging off.

So an hour later after retapping the thread to the box with an M12 tap and die and its sorted,

Been out testing it, and its so much better.:nana2:

I've learnt my leason regarding overtightening aswell :(

ive learnt that by using a small 3/8 socket set on anything zed related is a very wise move..keep the 1/2" big boys for the range rover;)

my starter occasionally makes a loud whering noise like its not engaging - starts fine after you dip the clutch
