Fraid that's suited to a Zed with all the usual bolt on mods and chip etc, but not including bigger injectors and turbo's of a size with a 5 bolt design.

However it is a bit early just yet for it to be slipping unless you've given kit plenty of welly! So maybe something ain't quite just right. Sozz :)

Carbon carbon is awesome though, been on mine for a number of years and is sooo easy...;)

Also I haven't given it that much welly at all bud

Please let me know about carbon carbon asap. Pretty stuck

Hi mate, the RPS carbon will and is gauranteed to take what ever you can throw at it and still be totally streetable ;) however yep cost is the issue so thats out eh.

Looking at your other post a puck unit is an on or off clutch not very streetable. Puck units wear out quicker than disc variants and cost more to replace, but they hold on average around 25% more power. The fewer the pucks, the quicker it wears out. A 6 isn't bad at all, but personally stick with a disc type IMO.

Now looking at your troubles, am not wholly convinced just yet yours has worn out completly, a standard clutch in a high powered Zed would usually last months and your clutch is meant to be uprated, so am thinking something is not right here.

Changing a clutch is not a specialist job and costs around 200 quid labour.

Find yourself a friendly mechanic/garage who won't mind sitting the car for a few days, have the clutch removed and inspected, if it is completly worn you can get a replacement in the UK within 48hours and from the US via USPS in about 6 days, or 72hours via courier. So no mega off road time.

Carbonetics twin plate is more affordable than the RPS version and has a pretty good reputation.

I ran 475lb of torque and 414bhp at the wheels on my RPS Max series so that's also an option for you too.

Good luck :)

Cheers

Thanks smithy. I think I'd need one to hold more power than that though pal

Erm that is one of THE highest torque levels on this forum bud :) that's what power wears a clutch out.

Fist thing though before spending yer cash is have it checked.

Oh and you'll not wear out the carbonetics twin plate or semi carbon unit so quickly.

cheers

Can I be cheeky and ask for some links please mate?... U know I'm useless lol.

Sorry mate I'd read the bhp figure when I was saying it needs to hold more power.

The one I have apparently holds up to 550 lb of torque... According to the web page
