Can anyone help please,i've got a 90/91 na auto and i'm having trouble getting the right code for the paint,the code on the vin plate is ag2,but the paint suppliers i've been to have mixed ag2 nissan red but they're miles too light and orangie compared to mine its more of a deeper red,any advice would be great,thank's Carl.

hi again,a friend of mine has the remains of his z and his code is ag2, and it's the same colour as mine,just a thought but is the ah3 a deeper red,thank's all for your help.

Hard for us to say if the difference you are seeing is because your looking at new paint versus old paint, Red fades noticeably over the years

But if thats definatly not the case then it sounds more like they have not mixed the paint correctly.

Try another supplier...or take in your Petrol filler cap and get them to match if from that. Personally I would do the latter as even if they mix the paint correctly its not going to match you old paint.
