got to elephant.co.uk and put in ya details before the crash, then once you have the price ammend the quote and add the crash details, it will give you a rough idea of what its going to be, mine wnet up about £40 when i was crashed into

nothing for me...it was on a classic policy so no loss of no claims possible

Mine is on a classic policy, so my no claims are safe, But i know that my insurance will go up, just wondered by how much it will be put up

went on to cofused.com, wouldn't quote on on one with mods. only got one quote with crash, about £1000. was £800 with the same company without the crash and cheapest was £600

Just tried elephant, £750 including the crash, £500 without. had to ring about insuring one with mods on engine. £850 with body mods

not bad £150 extra with a wide kit that may cost £1200 to replace lol, insure it as slightly modded, they will only write it off anyway lol

thats a big increase on premium, but because you were the only person involed i the crash they are gonna penalise you for it unfortunately

My insurance on another car went up too when I was hit. Elephants reasoning was I was more of a liabililty on the road :wack: Seams you have to leave your car at home according to these stupid people :headvswal

Back when my Z was my daily driver I was unfortunate (read stupid:rolleyes:) enough to run into the back of a Landrover causing £1000 damage to my car.

I claimed on my insurance although I don't know whether the other driver put in a claim against me. Anyway, 3 months later at renewal time my existing insurer (Admiral) did not load my premium despite the accident. I did shop around and Admiral were still the cheapest at the time; but most insurers did not seem worried by one "at fault" accident in the years I hae been driving.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
