Series 2 aircon

Can I swap a series one aircon dash pod with a series two aircon dash pod ?

and will it work ?

Or will I have to swop the aircon ecu for a series two aircon ecu.

    it will work, just not correctly, from what i remember, you cannot control any of the extra features of the s2 pod, ecu still thinks there is a s1 pod attached.
