Just got my car back from Zedworld after having a reasonable amount of work done. I have to say that they very much live up to the reputation they seem to have gained on here - they're obviously very knowledgeable when it come to the cars, and their customer service is absolutely first class. And on top of that they all seem to just be really genuine nice people (as opposed to 'nice' in a salesman sort of way). I highly recommend them.

Couldn't agree more, Big thanks to Geoff for checking over my car today (both in the Workshop and on the M40 service station :-) and giving me some good genuine advice (no sales pitch stuff) and providing the best service I have had from any garage. Highly recommended for anything Zed related. Tea and Coffee also the best I have had in any garage :-)

No sorry that wasn't me, I was the chap that came in while you were talking to him. I didn't catch his name, but he said he wasn't on the forum anyway. My Zed is black but has stock exhausts at the moment!

 

How did your Zed fare in the assessment?

The ZED assessment went pretty well only a few minor points to keep an eye but generally I was really pleased. After Geoff fettled with the TPS it felt much smother on the way home.

 

How about you and problems?

I had mine assessed back in November I think, was quite a bit that needed doing - brake discs all round, both hicas arms, some welding and couple of other bits! It's all done now though, was just picking the car up last Sat.

After the NW RR Day last saturday i found out that my zed was running very rich! So i PMd Jeff and he managed to fit me in today to give it a once over.

 

So Jamie gave it all a good inspection and got it on Conzult etc... He fixed a couple of boost leaks, fiddled with the CAS as the timing was advanced and just did alot of tweeking etc...

 

I can now firmly say its running miles better, much more manageable, idles better, changes gears better and best of all my fuel comsumption has improved ten fold :nana2:
