how does it fit in the boot? I can't picture it, looks too tall. Looks nicely made though. A sub/system install is one of my next jobs, so very interested in how it all turns out.

it fits the full depth of the boot (30ish cm iirc), was the only way to get the correct volume needed for the speaker in a sealed box. Mine is SWB so might not look like it does on a LWB (never seen a LWB boot??), ive had the carpet come today so will prob cover it tomorrow or sunday and take some more pics of it fitted with the speaker in place to give an idea to anybody that fancys having a go themselves.

Looks good. How do you intend on fastening it down?

gonna velcro it to the carpet, will just stop it tipping over if i blast round a corner too fast, the carpet is already pinned into the tool kit. i also need to fasten a small wedge on one of the corners as it sits on the plastic bit where the targa straps go through the carpet so doesnt sit perfectly level.

Looking good bud......

what else you got planned?

Neil

an ideantical box for the other side, to house the amp, and other bits like first aid kit, foot pump, targa bags ect, after that not sure, do fancy a viper rear bumper, and some polished sills.

looks really good (or will do when you've hoovered your boot out!). That boot is definitely deeper than my LWB one, looks like mine would without the spare wheel/tool kit under the carpet. Where does the spare wheel go in a SWB?

under the carpet like a LWB, your the second person to say how much deeper a SWB boot looks compaired to a LWB one, must have a look at a LWB boot next time i get chance.

Remove the carpet, then make a solid floor base out of 3/8 mdf and cover it in black carpet. Make the floor out of two sections with the join down the middle of the boot section. works a treat! By the way I made the one that Simon was selling.
