Well the day has finally come for the wifes spinal op, she has been waiting for her op for some time now. The spinal procedure she is getting only 4 people in the uk have had it and 20 worldwide.:eek:

She went into theatre at 8 this morn should be around 6hrs so just waiting now.

It's normal that everyone moans about "the missus", but it doesn't get away from the fact that the "her-indoors" in everyones lives, is extremely special.

Always a laugh and joke until something major happens.

Then it's harder to find the smile.

I strongly believe that smiles and laughter keep the body and soul healthy.

(Along with food and wine/beer, of course!)

Are the screws going to be permanent? I guess they are.

If not, don't forget to apply a generous spray of WD40 before removing them!

Humour can get you into trouble with serious people,

but life is too short to be serious all the time.

"Take real good care of her" doesn't really need to be said, cos that's what you are doing.

Stay strong, happy and don't forget to laugh.

Not to good the op wasn't the miracle that the doctors were expecting, there now seems to be unrepairable damage done to the sciatic nerve.:(
