Is it still The Beast for East, or has someone else taken over?

Any pictures and specifications would be great.

Actually 260Z my favourite Z ever to be really honest it is a very close tie with a Z32tt, I think they are both fantastic cars only the 260 has the potential to go faster due to its weight that's all.

Pics will follow soon........Having said that I think a few members might have guessed what we are talking about by now.......... ;-)

Can you give us the numbers on this? 0-402 meters, 0-60 mph, BHP, top speed etc? :hyper:

Past - 400m 11.15 @ 132, claimed 550bhp but I think more like 450, top speed over 200mph geared for 260mph

Currently building for 8sec 400m @ 175mph, 850bhp top speed 240mph, gearing as before

This must be one of the fastest in the UK. Even MAC will have problems with your current performance.

???????

What do you mean come to a conclusion and we have a winner???

the car ran an 11.15 quarter. The late Gavin Balmer ran a 10.5 in his Z32. Mark watkins still runs 10 sec quarters in RatZ

780Z's car only has a "claimed" 550bhp(from the US) . He himself doubts the figure and reckons its more around 450 which certaily ISNT the most powerful Z in the UK.

So It aint the fastest and it aint the most powerful......

game still on....:hyper:

he was banned some time ago from Z Club.net:nono:

So far yes, it's a rolling competition as there are a few projects under construction.

Can someone post Macca's dyno graph so people can compare the results etc?

Anyone with access to Macca`s dyno?????????????????????

I dont think he has an Up to date Dyno posted anywhere. I think he is waiting until his Gearbox Upgrade and Race fuel Conversion after the re spray before getting another Dyno done. But don't quote me on any of that. I'm sure he will answer for himself at some point. ;)

How about this one :) 504.25 RWHP @ 6770.4 rpm and on a 'proper' rolling road. Running just 1.2 bar currently.

Hm - very nice. Since you`re from the UK, have you shown your Dyno to Macca? You seem to be in his class.

I have had a little bit more work done to the car just to make it a bit more lairy and exciting  went out for a spin today with the traction control off and think I've achieved my aim. I've got an R1 and now believe that my car will out drag my bike for the first time. Here's a pic of the engine compartment with much of the bling removed to make way for more functional stuff. I am really inpressed by those who can work on these cars themselves because it beats the hell outa me. Didn't get chance to take it on the rolling road as a bit busy but will probably wait till the summer and next service to give it a run. Happy christmas everybody :)

Its nice to see the car is finally up and running again after all the history surrounding it. Are you still running the Greddy 16g turbos and if you dont mind me asking who is now looking after it as this car was out of the maldon workshop the same time as mine the only differences with the engine spec were

Turbos

Injectors

Full after market competition engine management.
