Someone who has heard anything from MAC lately?

 

I am here but the only real way of giving out the most bhp is to have a shootout on the same RR on the same day and I have no problems with doing so when I finally junk the bottle neck plen and have six throttle bods in place of it.

 

I have had so much on of late the car has taken a back seat in my priorities but I hope to get back on the project soon when it comes out of the body shop from a new respray.

Good to hear from you, you seem to have some wrong priorities these days, be careful and now and don`t let work take over for hobbies.................. :rofl:

looks as tho jaffa has taken the spot over macca 609bhp..... it all depends whether maccas is rear wheel power or flywheel.

i think the fastest z32 in this country is around 12.6?? this was done years ago and there are lot more powerful ones around now so i dont think its going to be long before it gets into the 11's and fingers crossed into the 10's one day :)

ahhh i read it as he had a car already that he drags LOL

 

i think he will be very dissapointed if he sets out to get into the 8's in a z32, its just not built for it, even the skylines have just broken the 8's and thats with stupid power and airshifter gearboxes etc so you talking £100k+++ to get a zed that low!!

 

i think in this country with our drag strips getting a zed into the 10's would be a massive achievement and i think would need over 600 rwhp and supporting suspension and drag tyres to do it LOL

yeh that car was a beast, as you said i dont think you would be doing too many trips to asda doing the weekly shopping LOL

It is a 73 Z with a 700bhp LS engine in the making, fully road legal with laughing gas probably another 150bhp more it has been lightened and weighs only 2200lbs so just under a ton, it even has working aircon......... ;-) Everything has been sorted and is working except the engine, the car ran 11.15 @ 132 with a very poorly built engine that really only ever produced about 450bhp. and even in that state it gave an 850bhp Supra a fright so I think sub 8secs @ 180mph is a reasonable targret, especially as I saw a rather scruffy road legal Camaro run 7.8 or so @ 179mph at the pod a few years back, road legal Golf and Corrados that weigh circa 1900lbs regularly run low 10's with 450bhp and considering it will be a bit more powerful than Ratz it is an entirely reasonable proposition, and by the way the car was built for the race track not the dragstrip so it has all the right bits to make it corner seriously well too, and it is road legal, fully mot'd.
