Has anyone used this company before? Just looking at there group buy and just wanted some info on them. Any problems etc.

The reason I ask is I am having problems with ASHSPEC at the moment and don't want to go down the same road with POWERTRIX.

Thanks,

Ant

Got all powertrix adjustable suspension parts - absolutely superb.

Got everything from DTA :)

They have a group buy going on at a U.S froum, so just wanted to be sure. If DTA doesn't have any problems then I will probably go ahead and join the group buy.

Thanks for the quick replys :)

Powertrix are fine. Ashspec are notoriously bad. I'd not go near them with a barge pole. But the likes of Z1 and DTA buy from Powertrix so you have full product support.

I have Powertrix adjustable suspension components on my car. They are race tested products as Charles from Powertrix regularly tests their products. Loads of people in the US use them and they have a good reputaion. They have a good reputation over here. The ONLY person I've ever known to have problems with them is silverbullet.

Hi Ant,

Yep, I [aka DTA-Motorsport (UK)] am the official sole UK distributor of all the Powertrix parts. That means that if you were ever to have any problems with any of their parts, regardless whether you bought it throung me or Powertrix direct, I will do my best to sort it for you.

With regard to the US group buy - please be my guest to join in, I have no problem with that at all. The only reason I'm not offering this particular group buy here in the UK is the current strong Dollar exchange rate. By the time you convert the figures to Pound Sterling, add in transportation, import duty and VAT it would make no difference to buying the parts directly from me at the normal price.

Good luck and let me know if you require any assistance.

Regards,

Dan

PS - Ashley Powers is NOTORIOUS when it comes to customer service or even responding to enquiries. I refuse to do business with them precisely for that reason.

ive dealt with danny and got a very good service and a very ood price on a hicas eliminator bar, went out of his way to locate one or me and get it here quickly as he knew i was desperate

Cheers Si. I wish I had stayed well away from ASHSPEC now. Should of done better research.

Thanks for that Dan. I work for Fedex so I get a very good discount on shipping. So its not as bad for me.

I appreciate it regarding any assistants I may need.

I agree about Ash, wish I never ordered the radiator off him last march which I'm still waiting for

Cheers,

Ant

Hi Ant,

No worries mate - knowing Powertrix's quality is top notch you won't be needing my help! ;)

With regard to the Ash Spec Radiator - I take it you're referring to their so-called double-pass aluminium radiator with shroud. If that is the case then watch this space as I'm about to release our own DTA Performance Radiator! It'll be a core identical to a KOYO Racing radiator (ie, proven quality and reliability) featuring a heavy-duty electric fan and fan shroud. Haven't got final pricing yet as I'm still in the design testing phase and ironing out some production issues. If you're interested I'll put you on my "list of people to keep informed" and contact you with the spec and price as and when it becomes available.

All the best,

Dan

Would love to but I've all ready paid for the radiator. I have been in contact with him via email and claims he is sending it out this week. I really should of researched it a lot better. I am going to have to try and get my money back I think, I can't see that happening.

I think you will be very lucky to see this in the near future, the amount of people who have both money and supply problems is huge.

I am sorry to say I personaly think you will never see your radiator or your money back.
