Well I did an epic fail today....

The Zed was frozen solid this morning after driving in the rain last night.

So this morning when I left the hotel, I tried to open the doors and nothing, after a few mins I thought well I will go through the boot, the rubber is protected better from the elements, so I tried the tail gate and whoosh it opened with no issues.

I stumbled through the boot and and got the ignition key in and vruuummm, the car started, I put the heater on and made my way back through the boot, just as the boot cluncked shut (the nano second) I got a bad feeling....

Crap I had just left my keys in the car and it was all locked up..... epic fail :xxx:

To make things worse is that the AA took 1.5 hours to get to me, so imagine the joy of everyone at the country club hotel (with PGA golf coarse) that I am staying in with my HKS super drag burbling away from 7 in the morning.

again epic fail :xxx: but cool AA man that had his own Skyline and got me open with no issues.

I was working on the zed... Batt was dead... was fixing the remote door release pull cable... took of the connector realised if was fooked so went to get a new one....closed the door........ D'oh, with the batt dead.... door poppers not working, and the remote door pull disconected.... grrrr luckily i was having the rear window in the tailgait tub refitted the next day as it was leaking.. pulled it up from the bittim, and managed to get my arm in with a witches broom from halloween and a metal coat hanger bent into the shape of a hook... an hour later i got the door open.......

Grrrrr.... i'll never do that again.

should have covered the air filter with your hands and it would have stalled

And how would you suggest he get his hands round the air filter? ;)
