Since i bought the car about a year ago the drivers side window has always leaked when subject to heavy rainfall/hosepipe. The seals look fine to me, and when i push the window in slightly there is no leakage, so can you adjust the window to rise at a slightly diffrent angle so it pushes agains the seals better and if so how??

ps nowhere else on the car leaks and water only leaks through at a certain point on the window, ive attached a pic

There are two ways to adjust the window, the window guide is held into the door by 2 adjustable fixings, the lock nuts are loosened and then a screw driver is used to turn the centre bolt in or out.

At the top of the door where the window emerges are two adjustable stops, these can be raised or lowered independently and allows you to adjust how high the window goes before it stops, by adjusting them separately you can tilt the window forward or backwards slightly.

Of course all these adjustments require the door panel to be fully removed.

excellent mate, thanks

are there any guides to removing door cards, and for the future/doesnt cure the problem replacing door and roof seals.

went you do it mate, watch out for the black sticky stuff that holds the waterproofing onto the door. Its like what holds the rear lights together, just worse. Bloody stuff gets everywhere
