Spent the day building the other sub enclosure... just have to finish the amp rack cover and cover it....... should only take 2 or so hours... the cover the rear seat.. but run out of wood lol... so that'll have to wait a wee while... but i'm really pleased with in concidering my chippy skills are crap :whistling:

Very nice indeed mate - can't wait to see the finished product. Gonna have to tackle this type of thing myself sooner or later. Gotta build up the courage to make a start lol.

The hardest part was the cut outs round all the angles.... pain in the @ss.....

 

but measure every posible point and then mark it on the board, then leave an inch all the way round then cut, you can trim off but cant put back on lol.. better to be to big than too small..... as i found out :cry: lol

 

has taken me 3 days so far... lol but the weather has been crap, starting at about 11 finish at about 4 so 15 hours.. but got some better RCA cables so need to change them over...run the remote wires and then i think thats it.. apart from what was mentioned above....

Cheers Neil - i may leave it till the summer myself. But you never know, may start earlier, its more a case of when money allows at the mo lol. :o

Know what you mean though, ii've had the amps and speakers sitting in my shed for the best part of a year now..... finally got round to get the MDF from these guys and well think it saved me a about £8 a sheet........

I've got a couple of subs and new original side speakers that i have picked up over the last few months, but i will be needing all the cables and a new headunit and amps etc.......

 

I'll get there, just so much to do - it literally never ends with this car :rofl: It costs more than keeping a woman! :rofl: :rofl:

I know what you mean.. £30 for RCa, another £25 for power and earth, then £8 for reomte wire. speaker wire lol the list is endless.... i got some 5m RCA cables herre you can have, they have the remote wire built into them.. got 3 of them.

I looked into things a while back and got loads of help in a thread i started, so when i get round to making a start i will go back and read thru everything again. Then i will get absolutely everything i need and do the job - i'm of a nature were i can't start without having everything i need lol.

Well nearly finished it all off to day just the panel covering the rear seats with the 6.5" in and then that's it.....

 

but the rest is all done.. :D i'm well chuffed with my efforts even the Mrs was impressed "and your crap with wood" thanks babe..... feel really loved now :whistling:

Wanna adjust the hight of the amp rack as it looks a little pissed... not sure why... will have a look when i run the new RCA cables.....

Looking good, should get round to doing mine;) are you putting perspex over all the holes, you need some sort of cooling for the amp as the air round them will heat up
