Talking of auxiliary heating, I am surprised more cars didn't come with this, especially diesels. The length of time it takes for a diesel engine to warm up to the point where you can blast yourself with warm air seems to take an eternity in the winter. Don't know why more cars don't come with thermostatically controlled ceramic heating elements.

 

HICAS was actually an early form of ESP...although I am sure Frogmella wart owning chav wouldn't have a clue!

Ah, I see- was thinking of the ESP in my Merc which apparently knows if your falling over etc and magically looks after you......I think?!
