Car/Engine Design Thoughts

A human will never run as fast as an ant or be as strong relative to their respective bodyweights. I don't know why this is -if anyone knows I'd love to hear the explanation...

This is one factor which made me think smaller engines were to a point more desirable. A smaller car should, other things being equal, handle better and give the driver more 'feel', but there are limits.

Also, a larger object has a larger volume relative to it's surface area. This , I thought, would make cooling more of a problem in a larger engine, but as long as the engine doesn't get too hot, this should not make much difference, and as duffer has said, a larger engine has more displacement relative to the mass of engine components, ie. a V8 has one crank but 8 cylinders, a 4-cylinder has a crank also but only 4 cylds.

Its all to do with leverage, chimps, gorillas and the most vicious Orangatans (yes really)have superior tendon and ligament strength due to the insertion and origin of their muscle fibers! Mind u Gorillas have very, very small penises!

WTF has this got to do with anything im not sure?
