As most of you will know i currently have a UK TT but am swapping bits across to the Jap shell. Hopefull getting it back this week by the way:)

 

Does anyone know what bits I should make sure that I swap and what the advantage of of UK bits are?

Uk anti roll bars are thicker for one.

rear fog light wiring maybe? unless its already been done. the diff cooler.... the engine oil coolers are bigger too i think on the uk.

From the UK, the electric passenger seat and if your lucky enough heated seats.

If you still have the UK targas, make sure you have the UK targa blinds, as jap one dont fit.

How much difference do the roll bars make?

 

I have the uk leather seats already. Due to the wiring of the Jap car I needed to make a choice of either heated seats or folding mirrors so I went xith the mirrors and jefftt said its quite easy to sort out the seats heating.

 

I have the targa blinds but obviously not the uk targa top. Will the blind fit the Jap targas?

 

Is the uk fogs not in the bumper or am I not getting what u mean?

UK foglights are in the rear bumper. JDM foglights are front facing.

The only thing I would bother swapping is the UK Clocks and the rear anti roll bar (only the rear one is thicker) and engine oil cooler. (unless you have aftermarket versions of these already)

It has a picture and states 'Fogs in rear panal' for the JSpec cars, which were not standard.

Does having the thicker uk ones actually make any noticeable

No, but if you did a search, there are quite a few threads on the same topic, I only posted one of them on here. my point is, the search function be very usefull.

I'm on here on a mobile mate. Its hard enough to even leave a post. Searching is very difficult.

Yes. Only the rear is thicker though.

I would recomend gettin new Antiroll bar drop links and roll bar bushes as well though. Old ones will be knackered.
