Yeh, only reason to buy it is for the engine. I'd snap it up if I could spare the funds for it..but then the engine would just end up sitting here till I could start rebuilding it.

what power did they push standard?

 

officially 280hp, but actually about 320hp. 4.5i V8.

 

Not too hard to put that closer to 400, and Johns build could potentially see 500+ in NA form.

 

There are Turbocharged and supercharged versions out there seeing anything from 600+ (on stock internals!), and heard of a 1200hp example being used.
