I remember seeing at the time, they took Frank Williams out in it.

Yup Awesome, saw this car running around the circuit at Dijon-Prenois, in 1995, wierdest thing ever to see a people carrier and at the same time hear an f1 engine running.

I want one lol biggrin.gif

I think that it was at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed too, driven by an F1 driver but I cannot remember who.

Wonder if they fancy converting my Zafira?

I think I remember seeing a fleet of them doing demonstration laps at the British GP Silverstone - the year Johnny Herbert in a Benetton-Renault won - giving VIPs and journalists "a view" of the circuit. They looked better in (from what I remember) Williams colours (although there may have been a Benetton one too?).

Does anybody remember a similar Ford Transit F1 concept? (Giving away my Essex heritage).

I think the Ford Rally Team built something along those lines. I seem to recollect Sticky butler-Henserson driving it on Top Gear or something like that.
