Well as the title said.... Zed was stolen today from London grrr was recovered on the a406 not sure how much damage but by the sounds of it the front passenger wheel came off??? Wrecked the wing and side skirt... Don't even know if they have the wheel or not??? Unsure as weather to go through insurance or not.... A wing and side skirt are easily replaced as are disc brake disc's prob I have is getting it from the recovery ppl home which is from du on the a13 to March in cambs, about 100 or so miles, RAC has lapsed as the car was off the road...

Gutted and totally fed up, this car has been spend spend spend and TBH I can't be bothered any more, with me being made redundant in December I just don't have the money to get it out of the lock up let alone home and repaired..... might just get rid now....

Firstly any body got a trailor and something to tow it with that willing to lend a hand??

So now on the train home after an interview totally pissed off and deflated.....

good one Vinz but it has been knowen for so called joy riders to clamp a pair of vice grips on cars with quick release steering wheels to steer them away!

Fair point Bud.But you can also fit a cover over the unit to stop that happening.

If you can help out with the petrol, I'm happy to come up on Monday with a trailor and move it to wherever.

Also can help out with a front wishbone etc for free if they are damaged.

Regards

Anyone know if it's possible to make a switch so you can cut the power to the fuel pump? Would be a nice extra security with a hidden switch...

Sorry to hear this. Hope you get everything sorted soon.

Fitting a covert kill switch for the fuel pump was one of the first things i done when getting the car. In my experience, nobody pays attention when a car alarm is going off anyway.

For all those interested, you can read about the idea/process here:

http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.368

As long as you hide the switch well, it doesn't matter what the would-be thief does (hot-wire etc), the engine is never going to get any petrol to turn over. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best.

Of course it's possible. Just hijack the live feed to the relay and interupt it with a switch.
