I had a call from Leslie, Colin's (Dick300) wife tonight with the sad news that he passed away at the weekend.

He had been battling a mystery illness which had affected most of his vital organs and had spent months in hospital, just before Christmas he had gained enough strength to be fitted with a pacemaker which was hoped would help, but this unfortunately was not to be.

I realise many of the members on here won't know Colin, he has been a member for many years but although he didnt post on here much

recently, he did visit the site often and was one of the regulars at the Scottish meetings. Most the Scottish contingent that have attended meetings over the years will no doubt have met and chatted with him. As a long term Z man and true enthusiast he was very knowledgeable on the cars and was always ready to give advice and help. Colin you will be sorely missed from the meets and runs!.

Id like to take this opportunity to offer my, and I suspect the whole of the forums sincerest condolences to Leslie, family and friends.

In our thoughts and prayers!

That is very upsetting, i was only thinking about him other day wondering how he was.

Can we please put something together like we did for the last Z member?

RIP mate, never met him but my thoughts are with his family and friends:(

So sorry to hear the sad news, like many others i was following the thread and seeing that some progress had been made, then to lose the battle.

My thoughts are with you and your family and hopefully Colin is at peace now, no more pain.

All the very best

Graham

that is such sad news after such a brave battle , my thoughts and condolencies to his family friends and loved ones

God Bless

I am deeply saddened to read this news, as Robert has said Colin was a true enthusiast and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Very, very sad news...I had met Colin on a few occasions over the years and he had always came across as a pleasant, well mannered guy. A true Z nut aswell and had given me some good advice about the zed over the years.

My thoughts and prayers are with Leslie and Colin`s family at this difficult time...

Never met the fella, but RIP and my sympathies are with his family

RIP Colin :(
