The electric position switch on my UK spec passenger seat has fallen apart, does anyone know if a switch from drivers side will work?

They are leather and heated if it makes a difference

The drivers seat are 8x way adjustable and the passenger only 4x adjustableway so the loom/ connectors are different but it can be fitted and the loom / connector adapted quite easily.

Jeff, the bit of loom you gave me with the connector on from a drivers' seat is an exact match for the series 2 passenger seat I fitted when doing my retrim. Or are we talking about a different part?

Ah yes, the post above was refering to the UK seats with optional heating.

if you dont fiddle with the mech it will;) i fitted a drivers subframe to a series 2 elc passenger seat and rearranged the switch gear to work in the correct direction

Just an update on this, Have tried to find a spare switch for the pass side.Got hold of a drivers side switch, after removing seat and looking underneath it.

Plugged in the switch, only using the connectors that were in place, removed a couple of wires that are not used to tidy it up.

Hey presto, now have a fully working electric passenger seat, and the heated still works,
