This is my first Zed. I've had it a couple of months now, but only just got it insured properly. I've not done anything to it yet, so (as you'll see) it's not perfect, but still looks pretty nice to me. I'm a big fan of the stock look (including the wheels, which I think makes me a bit unusual!) so it'll be staying pretty much as is. The only things will be a 99 spec spoiler and rear lights, and hopefully polished wheels (I count them all as stock).

Very very nice mate!! :duffer: Nice plans for it too. You going to get the clear wing repeaters too?

A rare sight to see a stock tidy UK car.

Looks very very nice.

I would keep the std spoiler but do the rear lights. clear repaters and a little drop it would look stunning

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I was waiting for that one! Yeah, I'd like to get some, although I probably don't consider them quiet as vital as yourself! Where's the best place to get them from?

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of the standard spoiler, I think it's the one thing that really dates the car, but I guess each to there own! I'd definitely like to give it a subtle drop, but I think that'll be a bit down the line as I think it's quite an expensive job?

Very nice and sensible mods too, check the underside though as the uks are quite bad for corrosion.

I took it to Zed world about a month ago for one of their free assessment things, and whilst there is a bit of rust, Jeff said it was one of the best condition UK cars he'd seen for a while. It's booked in to get the bit of rust sorted in a couple of weeks so hopefully it'll be OK, but thanks anyway.

You'd be suprised. Such a small thing makes a huge difference. DTA sells them iirc.

1st dibs on the spoiler then please :)

It's quite a bad example mine I'm afraid. It's a fibreglass replacement one (done by previous owner) but it's been put on and painted terribly, doesn't look like it was flattened down at all.

Not to worrie about the paint as i will be getting the car resprayed sometime in the nr future

You'd be very welcome to it if you wanted it, but being realistic it's probably going to be a little while before I can afford to get a 99 one fitted (there's a fair bit of general maintenance work that need to be done first). I can let you know though when the time comes in case you're still interested.

nice pics m8 and like ur plans you going for genuine 99 spec lights?

Thanks. Yeah definitely genuine ones, I think they're worth saving up for the extra money.
