Does anybody know where I can get a cheap Mongoose Catback quad exhaust?

The cheapest I've found so far is £350 less VAT from zcentre.

Cheers

Well the list price from Mongoose is £558. So Lukes price seems good to me.

I paid more then £350 for a SWB system from Blueflame over three years ago

I did think that zcentres price was cheap but I've got a habit of buying something then getting told I could have got it cheaper at so so...

Even ebay can't match lukes price!

£350 is peanuts in terms of Z parts!

Err No.Its not

£350 is quite a lot of money. i have bought whole cars for not a lot more;)

Its a good idea to see if you could make a saving on that.:cool:

£350 for a brand new aftermarket exhaust? I'd say that was cheap as chips! I'm not comparing that to tatty old NAs that you can seem to aquire and break for parts. ;) hehe

lmfao at you two! :rofl::rofl:

I'm also looking at a Scorpion Cat back jobber, how does that compare to a mongoose in terms of noise (most important) and build quality??

i had a scorpion exhaust on mine, its a bit louder than the mongoose but similar in sound, build qaulity is very good

i have seen Scorpion back boxes and they were very nice.

At one time All Scorpion stuff was made right here in Langley Mill/Ripley Notts but then most of the production was moved to Eastern europe. So now I dont know about quality.

Well the scorpion is s/h and a couple of hundred cheaper! But my problem is that my current set up is far too noisy and in yer face for me. I don't know what make it is but here's a pic (sorry about quality!);

Looking for something that's good quality/performance and is quieter!

Im not to good with the Z exhaist system, its all new to me.

What IS a CAT BACK system? How is it different from the normal backbox?

Sorry, but i really dont have a clue when it comes to the Z's exhaust. I need to replace mine, so would love to know the difference.

Basically It's as the name suggests; from the Catalytic converter backwards i.e. The middle section and back boxes.
