As long as it is a pro tem measure it will be ok, but long term it is a nono!

Is this right PFR6B-11b used on us market cars for emmision reasons pfr6b-11c for uk market cars 95 ron fuel pfr6b-11 for jdm market cars high octane fuel .But it seems that all 3 plugs are ok for a standard z32 engine.

They're the exact same length Mark.

Actually, I will correct myself here. The ZRF7F-11 are 1~2mm longer than the PFR6B-11. I've run them for years now and not had a problem.

So they are slighter longer than the wrong plug for your car?

How do they compare to PFR6B-11C?

I edited it slightly as this is how I though they were. I maybe wrong.

PFR6B-11 for NA cars only (known to be standard use in JSPEC TT's)

PFR6B-11c for standard TT (Standard equipment in UKSPEC TT's)

PFR6B-11B for standard and tuned TT zeds

PFR6B-11 for NA cars only (known to be standard use in JSPEC TT's)

That said, for the N/A's, the code was replaced with PFR5G-11 (Or a 6G if required)

The use of PFR6B-11 on Zeds in the UK should be discouraged........

No idea.

I took out those PFR6B11's and did a comparison with those. Actually, it does not state A,B,C on the plug at all?

I could scan them for you if you want?

> I presume they are colder than the PFR6B-11B, how do they compare in length Eric?

Mark, the overall length of the ZFR7F-11 is the same as the PFR6B-11B

I personally never had a problem with the ZFR7 heat range (in various Zeds), but you can also get them in heat range 6: ZFR6F-11

PS: below the difference between a PFR6B-11 (left) vs a PFR6B-11B (right)

not sure what to think of the picture you posted, maybe there are different types of the PFR6B-11's, which would make things even more confusing...

anyway.. I once measured the ZFR7's against the PFR6B-11B and they were exactly equal in length.

I also found this picture, comparing the ZFR7F-11 to the PFR6B-11B's.

here you can also see they are the same in length.

They are deeper though. Only the shroud is the same length? That's the critical length isn't it?

I think the shroud is area protecting the ceramic from the turbulence in the combustion chamber, on the 11B you can see it is slightly deeper than the zfr?

Maybe the US plugs are slightly different, I think I said earlier the NGK codes vary through nations?
