sorry to start off with this Steve but i aint read a paper for about 5 years..when i was reading it was the express and i loved it;)

Erwwwww reading no thanks

I dont read any paper, i check out the local news website every now and again and thats it lol.

i dont really read newspapers regularly never know what to believe in them and i only read the sport section so when i do its usually daily mirror.

dan.:)

Oh come on. theres only one paper worth reading at thats the sport, or the Sun

Purely for the sport, or the horoscopes.

I rarely buy newspapers. Have the internet for up-to-date news. I don't feel a point in me buying a paper. I have access to up-to-the minute news through my blackberry or laptop.

There are some interesting articles and write-ups in newspapers though.

But, I do steer clear of tabloid newspapers. I don't think I've ever bothered buying a copy of something like 'The Sun' or 'News of The World' or whatever. Find them rather trashy. If I wanted a comic, I'd buy the Beano, if I wanted naked women, I'd buy Club International....or just download it free from t'internet.

Broadsheet only for me.

Daily Sport is full of made up stories, no news, and lots of naked women.

I think most builders would read the Sun .... and not say, the Telegraph. I could be wrong, but its a preconcieved idea.

Don't The Express, Mail, Sun and Star all come accross as being the "bad papers"

I get most of my news off the bbc website, but its all the "not current affairs" news i feel i am missing out on.

Your not saying what broadsheet and why that particular one..

it just seemed factual without the tits and arses, had a very good section called "the beachcomber" which was a view of the world from a witty ole timer and a very unorthadox chap he was:D plus a good buisness section including the currency and commodites market

I don't really have a preference. I know some can be bias toward situations or events, but as long as the facts are there. The Times is a paper I've bought in the past as well as the Independant.

In out garage we sell them so i read them in this order

sun> daily mail > express > south wales echo > daily torygraph

I read the evening post, only if the parents have the up to date version, and its only if im downstairs for more than 5 mins

Mainly broadsheets during the week i.e Times, Guardian and Telegraph but i'm biased toward the Daily Telegraph (or Torygraph as Lampy put it - Ha ha made me laugh) and then i'll mix a couple at the weekend with a tabloid for good measure!

Mainly the Daily Telegraph though, as it's remained truly broadsheet but also as its well written and based on well researched news articles which is the same reason why i'll focus on BBC news on-line rather than other sites. The sport section is also well written though and is wide ranging and not just football which i'm not into at all. I'm no right winger and read the Telegraph with this noted bias in mind though! However, with the left wing pap that gets banded around the tabloids, i believe it's easier to define the middle ground from and i take nothing at face value anyway. I also read the local papers once or twice a week as well as the Western Mail to keep abreast of National Welsh Issues and state of the local and Welsh economy etc

I'd prefer to read the news with a cuppa and rather buy a paper and have a read in the car with my sarnies than read on-line at my desk at lunchtimes during the week...Just something i prefer and hope that the printed press will continue as i'd hate to have to log on and read the news all the time as it's just not the same or as relaxing. You can also come back to a paper article and read it again for a different viewpoint following the television news. I also tend to read either later in bed, which is what i'll do at the weekends, if i don't get a spare hour to sit and read during a sunday if i'm working, and i do this to close the week off before going to sleep (or on the loo sometimes!!) read into this what you will if you'll pardon the pun..!!
