Well I've got another question :D Had a auto to manual conversion done a few years back. When pulling the rad I come across these pipes attached to the rad, the other ends were just loose. Am I able to bin these and just block the holes on the rad some how or are they still needed?

 

Hoping to get the rad from ash sorted soon so won't be needing this one but wanted to check anyway, just incase I have to put it back for any reason.

Yes, A/T cooler hose's. No need to block them really, as they are not part of the cooling system.

So if I disconnect them from the rad, the rad can still operate without it leaking? Its completely separate?

Yes, if you think about it if it was'nt you would get water in the gearbox when connected and water would come from the pipe when not.

Yeah wasn't sure with the wheels first, but didn't take me long to decide that they suit the car.

take the pipes off the rad and find a couple of bolts to bung in with some plumbers ptf sealing tape or you will have auto tranny fluid draining out for a while a drip at a time,,lower more important for ovious reasons:)
