While removing bits ready to do the engine pull in the new year I decided to remove the Hicas. I have the elimination bar and will be doing this at a later date. I have the N/A PAS pot and N/A pump. I've managed to remove the TT pump and was looking at swapping the N/A pot. I guess with the N/A pot, as it only has the 2 pipes coming out unlike the TT pot that has 3, that you do a swap like for like with the pipes and remove the one that would of gone to the Hicas from the the TT pot?

Where I've circled marked A, would this be the pipes going under the car to the Hicas? Can these be cut where I have circled and be removed when I fit the bar at a later date?

Also where I've marked B, What happens to this pipe? I disconnected it when I removed the pump, does it reconnect to the N/A pump when I fit it back?

Sorry for so many questions.

Sorry I don't know the answer to this, but are you still looking for the ptu wiring, if so can you post a picture of what you want as I may have it.

Pretty sure A's are the pipes to the back which I removed completely

B looks like the feed to the pump from the pot so will need to be reconnected

I fed the pipe to the left (high pressure from pump going to solenoid body) back into the pot using the other connection on the solenoid body (low pressure return feed)

Hi Paul, its the connecter that plugs into the TPS where I have circled and the other pic is the connecter that I need with the wire included.

Thanks,

ok, will look toworrow and get back to you, how urgent is it?.

Paul

Not very urgent. Cheers Paul.

Both of pipes (A) can be removed, cut, capped or even left hanging as they are no longer in use, these ones run to the rear hicas which are no longer in use.

I went to that link, cheers jimmy.

Well looks ok then to cut and loose those pipes.

Thanks for your help.

Its just convenience, If he has the na pot and pump then i think he will prob need the new pipe aswell but im not sure.

Ive ordered that bypass stuff just waiting for it to arrive, i will prob just leave those pipes dangling or if its not too much trouble il rip them out.
