in abit of a situation .......gettin tired of puttin all my spair money into fixin all the different problems on a weekley basis on ma z ...only had it bowt 6 month n gettin abit tiresome now. a have been wantin a tvr for as long as i can remember bt a still love the z...now comes the problem of what to do ...do i sell the z n use the money as a deposit on a tuscan or do i spend the 20 k it wud cost me to buy the tuscan on rebuildin the z bottom to top with the best of everythin ( or stick it on the next transporter to japan to top secret n get thm to work there magic haha):cool:

a like thm both was orginaly after a cebera thn seen a tuscan and now im in 2 minds what to do and there is sumthin bowt that rover v8 in the ceberas ....best sound i ever herd!

I think my 2 favourite TVRs are the Griffith and the Cerbera. The Sagaris and Tuscan are just very odd looking and quite ugly cars. Mental vehicles though, just not in the least bit aesthetically pleasing.

agreed i only like the Cerbera, but still prefer the 300 to it:)

even the tvr is not without its expensive problems. i would do the zed as there isnt really that many about. a tvr you can see every day. ive always liked the 350i wedge.

 

If reliablity/problems is the issue then the TVR would be the wrong move

If you're good at auto electrics TVR is the way forward, i've always wanted one - especially the Tuscan my absolute dream car :D

 

If i had the option of either i'd have the Tuscan as much as i love the Zed

 

go the tvr route you will love it!

ok, it WILL drive you mad with minor niggles but so fook!

 

if you want something reliable and boring there are lots of other choices out there :)

For me it would have to be a 300zx - Surprise!

 

When I bought my 300zx, it was because I really wanted one. There are not many cars I would swap it for, other than those costing serious money.

In fact, I walked away with a lot of cash when I bought my Zed cos it was worth less than the other car, but its much more of a car.........

The Jaguar XJ220 uses Rover 200 rear lamps! One thing I'd be doing as an XJ220 owner would be fitting the newer style rear lights with the tinted indicator! LOL

yeah a have....brace ya self for this one ....... was payin 1600 on the z and its 2300 for the cebera...not that bad a suppose cosiderin a was payin nearly tht on a audi a3 1.8t last year.

get the cerb, get it de-catted, you will have a smile every time you drive it. go for the 4.5 not the 4.2 speed 6. 4.5 ajp is much more reliable. make sure it has full searvice history.
