Gonna fit some Hard pipes tomorrow and need to put my dump valves in place of where the Re-Circs used to be... Can't remember which pipe to stick them into tho! Would it be the top pipe or the bottom pipe??? Don't want to un bung the wrong one! Thanks very much for any help!

No gen. I've just done a funkysi search and it yeilded almost no results. I'll have a hunt on the US site. As much as I think they are a bit of a waste of time, I am really suprised no one's written a how2 on fitting them. Maybe there are various ways depending on what brand you buy?

Thanks Si, I've looked at Andy P's site and searched for ages on here but not having much luck... Guess it'll just have to be trial and error tomorrow... I know people fit Apexi ones in place of the recircs but can't find a big enough picture of what the finished article look like and which pipe you put them into and the one you leave bunged up!

Bottom pipes. See on the image. But double check as I haven't fitted them myself (not my engine in the shot)

i'm confused lol

they go in the bottom hose, leave the top one bunged up. remember you going to have to run new vac hose to the balance bar / plenum for each valve unless the original stuff is still there...

Cheers snoopy! That's the answer I was looking for! I've already got the vac lines there as I ditched my ricircs years ago and am now running my Dumpvalves off the Top turbo intake pipes next to the Throttle bodies...

It's just cause i'm replacing my old ones with hard pipes the only place I can realisticaly put them now is back down where the re circs are...

Conducting a kind of experiment as well as i'm sure there was some power loss by fitting Dv's next to throttle bodies due to turbulant air or something.. Will let you know the results!

that is if you are insallting dumpvalves on the intercooler pipes in the engine bay.

the standard dump valves are underneathe the front nose panel, under the air filter.

The Z doesn't have standard dump valves.

sorry, the standard re-citcs

anyway, heres a pic of the standard valve.

the pipe you can see is the re-circ pipe, that you block off.

then there is another large pipe at the bottom (can someone tell me where that pipe goes??)

anyway thats where your new valve goes into.
