would work on newer OBD-2 cars would it not?

(Im thinking of course that the later 300zx's with the 16bit ecu's were OBD2?)

ah would work on them then, I just want the fuel rate and mpg mainly, i can read the rest using datascan or the like...

my M3 has it all as standard... ;) haha... Also so does my Kangoo Van... TBH its not normally that accurate anyway, nothing wrong with a bit of maths and resetting the trip!

There are a lots of other examples out there that work on the 300zx that tell you the same info , but its only the MPG stuff they dont show - although thats not very accurate on OBDII anyway.

- Techtom MDM

- Greddy Informeter

- Laptop running Conzult or Datascan

- PDA running EcuTalk

Dam wish this would work on my car. Saves me buying the expensive stack dash i want :(

It only reads the data that the ECU monitors, so I would'nt compare it to a Stack or other Race Dash system.

Ive got a Greddy imformeter but i wanted something to replace my clocks since putting new faces on them them they have never been right since.

Yeh, but none of the above are really dash replacements.

Take a look at the following :

AIM MXL Strada - £600

Race Technology Dash2 - £600

Racepak IQ3 with Data logging- £700

Racepak IQ3 Dash only- £400

Stack ST1830/ST8110SR - £1300

ETB DigiDash - £400

If your not after the Datalogging facility than Racepak IQ3 dash would be the best deal.

out of stock for the time being, but works for any nissans that support consult via the grey 14 pin consult port

shows 'trip meter' sensors like MPG, distance, fuel used, etc

Nice one, I forgot all about the ECUtalk Hardware, and did'nt realise it did MPG. Think I might have to get one of these when the next batch are made.
