I've joined the forum as an old aquaintance has offered me his m reg 300zx non turbo for £1500.

 

Its a dark green targa top with 90 oddk miles on it and mot till next June

 

It appeals to me slightly due to the price and I have an urgent need for a car that will fit my 3 yr old daughter in the back and my 6 yr old son in the front.

 

I've had GTR33's, Supra TT,s and numerous 200sx'x ( was actually going to get another) but have since been a bit shorter of cash so I now have a mk1 mx5!! :wack:

 

I'm going to have a trawl around and see if this is the car for me and I'll post questions I have in the appropriate section

Cheers I'm in Upton. The car for sale is in Prenton just by work so I've been having a nose around it. I'm going to have a drive at the weekend as I've never driven a Zed but always wanted one

Its the Upton in Wirral which is by Moreton at the top of the Wirral. Bad planning in my opinion when they put an Upton next to Chester which is only 15 miles or so from my Upton!! lol

 

he body work looks spot on from the check I have just had. Its got what looks like a brand new exhaust as well

well keep us posted on how the test drive goes etc ! and soz just presumed u meant the upton closest to me lol

 

but i know the one now very roughly! ,but dont have much call to go down that way anymore

I do like the Jap cars, I just don't think any others can compare for price and value etc

 

I've sandwichedother cars in between and hated them like beemer 328 and a Jag xj8 which I advertised for sale 4 days after buying!!

 

My mrs has a merc now which is on;y a few years old but rusty as hell with kinds of electrical problems yet 've never had that with Jap cars

 

Just need some more cash now to sort my car desire addiction out!!

Going to drive the Zed tonight or tomorrow. Got the insurance variation from Tescos. They don't half rob you on imported cars. Its like at the moment where I paid extra for my 1.6 Eunos Roadster from the Twin Turbo 400bhp Supra I had that was a UK model!!! :rant:

i had a quote via elephant the other day and it was over £800 cheaper. insurance shopping is a pain but its way worth it

£800 cheaper!!!!

 

My Supra TT last year was £450 fully comp protected no claims!!! lol

i pay £450 a year fully comp on my uk zed, which will be up for sale after chrimbo

Welcome to the club:D hope you like the zed, ive got a jap na model & love it;) i got my insurance with marks&spencer £ 474 fully comp with rac full breakdown cover etc:D

I decided not to buy it in end. Nice motor but not for meI'm going to out the extra in and get an s14a instead

i think i pay about £500 fully comp im central London... private off street parking but no garage.
